This book is a tremendous book especially if you have visited Johnson County, Wyoming. Ms. Turk writes in a manner that you can picture all the trials and joy she experienced growing up in Wyoming. If you are going to visit Wyoming or have an interest - this is a book you have to read!

It is rare to find a book that is so uncontrived and refreshing to read. A true story that would appeal to anyone interested in reading about sheep hearding in the west. But more than anything else, this is a story about a remarkable woman and her family that will surely touch the heart of anyone who reads it.
